My folie design looked at framed views and tried to develop these into a sculptural piece of architecture that allowed people to experience the safe experience i did. My theatre concept is a step beyond this folie process.
After researching a range of different digital technologies i developed the concept of creating framed views using forms of projection. In my folie design looked at framing existing views around the HSW area. This concept extends on that through the use of 3d-4d projection within my theatre design to allow me to dictate what views/ experiences i choose to frame/ display to the viewer.
In a sense my theatre will create new views on top of the existing framed views available. The theatre design will be highly flexible in its use however will be centred around the core theme of projection technology and the experinces that can create from all areas of the desgin not just throgu hthe performance space.
